It's time for a new rural strategy

We're gathering to re-write the rulebook on how we organize

The Small Town Summit will bring together small town and rural organizers working on issues at the local and state level in predominantly conservative states. While a majority of the participants will be from the Mountain West, Upper Plains, and Midwest, we welcome anyone who is working in small towns and rural areas of the country.

Building the tools
together

Through strategic sessions on issues unique to our communities

The purpose of this convening is to provide a space for building relationships between organizers and community leaders who oftentimes feel alone and isolated, with a particular focus on sharing best practices, tools, and strategies unique to working in small towns, rural communities, and more conservative areas of the country. These will include how to neutralize far right opposition, moving the middle, and developing organizing tactics and principles that are unique to our rural geographies, community needs, and shared values.
